Singer and curator Georgia Mancio is bringing the Revoice Festival to London for its 4th year. The 10 days of Jazz, running from the 10th to the 19th of October, will be featuring 40 Jazz Musicians in the Pizza Express Jazz Club.
Kevin Mahogany, one of the ‘Four Brothers’, who performed alongside Bobby McFerrin, Jon Hendricks and Al Jarreau, will be opening the Festival together with the fellow American singer/guitarist, Alan Harris.
Other names include Beady Belle, the British vocalist Tina May, the Italian pianist Enrico Pieranunzi, the Portuguese/Cape Verdean singer/guitarist Carmen Souza, the Argentinian rising star Sofia Rei, the Italian vocalist Barbara Raimondi and many others.
Georgia, who is an eclectic singer, has impressed the critics, when interpreting “Travessia” for the opening of Milton Nascimento’s concert at the Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, in January this year. She is mentioned in our review of Nascimento’s concert.
